These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of DoorTrends (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Who these Terms apply to

• Service Customers: venues and organizations that subscribe to, rent, or otherwise purchase DoorTrends services, hardware, or support.
• End Users: individuals (e.g., members/guests) whose information is submitted to the Service by a venue or by the individual.

2) What DoorTrends is (and is not)

• DoorTrends is a record‑keeping aid and business analytics tool.
• DoorTrends does not provide legal advice, and does not guarantee that your venue is compliant with any specific law or regulation.

3) Compliance responsibility (venue/customer responsibility)

It is the sole responsibility of each venue/establishment to ensure that any membership, guest, or visit record keeping performed using the Service meets the requirements of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

4) Data you submit

• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of data you submit (including personal information about members/guests).
• You represent that you have the right and authority to submit such data to the Service.
• DoorTrends may use collected data to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including internal analytics and operational insights.

5) Accounts, access, and acceptable use

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree not to misuse the Service (e.g., attempt unauthorized access, scrape or exfiltrate data, disrupt availability, or circumvent security controls).
• We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe the Service is being misused or used unlawfully.

6) Text messages and communications

• Required and voluntary communications between DoorTrends and personal devices may result in carrier messaging and data charges.
• Where applicable, temporary memberships may be issued via text. Text STOP to unsubscribe at any time.

7) Hardware rentals / equipment responsibility (if applicable)

• Your establishment is responsible for rental devices and equipment provided to facilitate use of the Service.
• Any physical damage found on equipment at return or during the subscription period may result in fees or replacement reimbursement at DoorTrends’ discretion.

8) Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoorTrends disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoorTrends will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when posted.

DoorTrends is built for bars and private clubs. We limit data collection to what is reasonably necessary to provide the Service and to support venues’ record‑keeping workflows.

1) Information we collect

• Venue-provided member/guest data (examples): name, date of birth, address, phone number, employer/occupation, visit history, membership status.
• Account data: login email, basic profile details needed to authenticate users.
• Usage/analytics: basic usage metrics to help operate and improve the Service.

2) How we use information

• To provide and operate the Service (membership lookup, check‑in, reporting, administration).
• To improve our products and services and perform internal analytics.
• To secure the Service, prevent fraud/abuse, and troubleshoot issues.

3) Sharing

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share your personal information for third‑party marketing.
• We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, messaging), subject to appropriate safeguards.
• We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of DoorTrends, venues, and users.

4) Text messages

• Temporary memberships and venue communications may be issued via text where enabled.

5) Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

6) Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7) Your choices

• If you are a venue customer, contact DoorTrends support to update or correct account/venue data.
• If you are an end user, you may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
